Academics
Religion
Each student throughout the school studies religion as an academic subject, and the curriculum affirms and encourages Christian values and a sense of Christian commitment. Children in grades K-8 attend weekly Mass at the Chapel, and students in grades 3 and higher take turns each week leading us in liturgy. The school choir, under the direction of our Music teacher, leads us in song and students play the piano at times. Throughout the year special programs and services focus on the individual gifts and talents of the students in relationship to our Creator.
Resources
Students can participate in a Resource course designed to meet the needs of students with diverse learning styles where they can find the support necessary to achieve the highest success in their core academic subjects. The Resource teachers provide a safe, nurturing learning environment that fosters respect for all learning styles and the expectation that, with the proper support and guidance, all students can succeed academically. Small group instruction or repetition of content material often occurs as well as specialized reading or math programs as necessary.
