Giving

Your gift to Linton Hall School supports our long history of providing a quality Catholic education in a caring environment.  The Benedictine values of prayer, education, peace, stewardship, and community are important to our children’s healthy development.  Your gift to the school today supports these values for our children’s growth, and is tax-deductible.  Visit our online donation page now.

Annual Fund

The Annual Fund at Linton Hall School supports the operational needs of the School.  This Fund assists with expenses that are not covered by tuition, such as technology and remodeling older areas of the building.  The Annual Fund helps us keep tuition prices affordable.

Your gift today to the Annual Fund will support the quality Catholic education that the Benedictine Sisters have provided to children in Bristow since 1922. Please make the largest gift you can.

The Giving Tree

The Giving Tree, a beautiful sculpture located in the main entrance to the school, recognizes donors for their Scholarship Fund and Endowment Fund gifts.  Donations are distributed evenly between the Scholarship Fund, which provides tuition assistance to currently enrolled families in need, and the Endowment Fund, which provides income to improve and provide competitive pay and benefits to faculty and staff.

The Giving Tree donation levels:

Leaf $150 – 499
Double Leaf $500 – 999
Acorn $1,000 – 2,499
Stone $2,500 – 4,999
Mini-Tree $5,000+

Make a lasting gift in honor or in memory of a loved one, in celebration of a special event (like a birthday, graduation, wedding, or anniversary), or in tribute to a special person.

Invest in a child’s future by making a gift to the Giving Tree today.

Planned Gifts

A planned gift is a gift that is typically made from your assets instead of your income.  Contact your professional advisors and include Linton Hall School in your estate plan today.  Including the school in your estate plan ensures our future.  You can help provide this quality Benedictine education to children in future generations by leaving a gift in your will or trust to Linton Hall School.

Types of planned gifts you can make to the School include bequests, life insurance policies that are no longer needed, stocks or securities, real estate, and much more.

Please let us know that you have included Linton Hall School in your will or trust.  Contact Director of Development at (703) 361-0106, ext. 3110 or at devdirosb@comcast.net today.  We want to be able to say thank you for your great generosity to the students at Linton Hall School.

Events

The Parents’ Guild at Linton Hall School sponsors events and activities throughout the school year to raise money for the School’s needs.  For example, the Guild raised enough money in 2008-2009 to purchase Active Learning Boards for our classrooms.

The Guild’s two largest events of the year are the fall Golf Tournament and the spring Gala.  Please join us at these events to raise as much money as possible for the School!  (link to Guild section of the website)

The Bill Farquhar Athletic Fund

This is a new fund started in 2011, in honor of Mr. Bill Farquhar, who was our Athletic Director for many years.  Donations will help purchase new PE and Athletic equipment, uniforms, and help with field/gym improvements.

If you would like to make a donation, contact the school or make an online donation earmarked “Athletic Fund.”
