Teacher Support and Enrichment

The Guild will support LHS teachers through the following methods:

A.  Identify speakers and/or events, in collaboration with teachers and administration, that augment teacher’s competencies, expose them to the latest teaching methods, and enhance their creativity.

B.  Identify speakers and/or assemblies, in collaboration with teachers and administration, that enhance a classroom topic.

C.  Identify classroom tools, supplies and equipment needs for each teaching area, in collaboration with teachers and administration.

D.  Communicate consistently with teachers so that they are aware of all Guild efforts, and can provide input and support for Guild efforts.

E.  Provide teacher appreciation gifts to welcome new faculty, and to honor and support our teachers throughout the school year.

F.  Raise at least $7,500 for teacher bonuses at the spring Gala.
