Parent Portal open for grades in Grades 3-8
The PowerSchool Parent Portal is open for students in Grades 3-8. Paper interims will not be sent for these students. Grades are available live for parents to view. New families and 3rd Grade families will be receiving an instruction letter on how to access the Parent Portal. Parents of returning students in Grades 4-8 should use the login you created last year.
The PowerSchool mobile app also works well on android and iPhones. Instructions for how to use the mobile app from your phone are available on the Parent Portal website after you log in.

Colonel Linton Soccer Challenge
The soccer tournament is Friday, October 16, 2015. All students may wear their PE uniform for the day. During the soccer tournament the 8th graders will be selling concessions from the canteen. Click here for the listing and pricing of concessions. Thank you for supporting the class of 2016!
Baked Goods Needed for the Fun Fair!
Volunteer Bakers are needed to make baked goods or buy pre-packaged nut-free goodies. All contributions can be delivered on Friday, October 16th, 2015 either during drop off or pick up, to the cafeteria or near the Little Sprouts office.
Please place baked goods in bags for individual sale. Whole cakes need to be wrapped in whatever manner is most suitable.
We are also requesting prepackaged NUT FREE items Under the link, you will notice 2 different categories to sign up. Thank you so much!

This years’ Bingoween will be held on Thursday October 29, from 6 – 8 pm. Extra bonus- there is no school on Friday October 30!! Flyers will be sent home soon in the yellow folders.
There will be delicious food from Chick-fil-a and Domino’s pizza, apple slices, popcorn, chips, cookies, beverages and more!!

HIP HIP HOORAY; HERE COMES DRESS DOWN DAY!! For everyone who purchased a Dress Down Day pass, the first Dress Down Day is Tuesday, October 27, 2015!!
Dress Down Day participants are allowed to wear clothing that is not part of the uniform or Spirit wear, if they chose. However, participants are still required to bring gym shoes, if it is their gym day. Additionally, no flip-flops or open toed shoes are allowed. Young ladies are to be mindful of shoes with heels that may cause injury due to the tiled floors and stairs. We ask that all participants dress in keeping with the Spirit of the Benedictine Principles.
LHS Used Uniform Closet: The uniform closet is open for browsing and dropping off washed, gently used uniform items, during school hours.
To Pay: Please total the cost of your items and bring a check (made payable to Linton Hall School) or cash to the Business office.

High School Information Fair
Our High School Information Fair on Tuesday night was a wonderful success. Thank you to the Seventeen Families who attended the event. We hope to continue this program on an annual basis.
Picture Day is Coming Soon!
On Tuesday, October 20th, the photographer from Spledid Portraits will be arriving to take everyone’s picture. Please come to school looking your best in dress uniforms and big smiles for the camera. Envelopes will be coming home tomorrow in yellow folders.
Beginning Tuesday, October 13, children should begin wearing their winter uniforms to school. Click here to see details about the winter uniform.
Date Change for Dress Down Day
Tuesday, October 27th will be Dress Down Day for students who have pre-purchased passes.
If you forgot to purchase your DDD passes. No worries!! You can still buy a sheet of them (1 for each quarter) for $20.00. Contact Dina Gledhill at firstname.lastname@example.org.
“COLORS for Cancer” Day at LHS
On Thursday, October 22nd, wear your favorite colors to beat cancer (dress down day). Forms will come home for you to complete and return to share who you would like to donate in honor or memory of. Also, bring in $1 to be donated to Cancer Research. Thank you for your support.
Sunday, November 8th is our next Open House at 1pm. All are welcome. Invite your friends and neighbors.
