Advent
Each Monday morning (12/11, 12/18) we will gather as a school community to pray around the Advent Wreath. All are welcome!
Costumes for Our Christmas Performance

Grades 1, 3-8 – Church clothes with dress shoes or clean school shoes

Grades 7-8 – should also wear something green (shirt, blouse, skirt, tie, etc.)

Grade 5 – should also have warm accessories (hats, gloves, scarf and/or earmuffs)

Grade 2 – beach clothes, Hawaiian shirts, light colors, etc.

K – Boys – Shepherds

K – Girls – Angels

 

Miss Magda

Please keep our Miss Magda in your prayers. She has been a loyal part of our Maintenance Staff for many years.  She will be out with medical issues until the middle of January.

 

Catholic Charities We Care  Week

This week is Catholic Charities We Care Week where all Catholic Schools are asked to participate in helping raise funds for Catholic Charities. We will be selling ice cream or ice pops for all students preschool-grade 8.

 

K-8 students will be able to purchase ice cream on Friday, December 8 during their lunch period. The ice cream or ice pop will cost $1.00.

 

 

Winter Coat Drive

Help Linton Hall School’s Cub Scout Pack 1922 share the warmth this winter!  Now through January 18th, Pack 1922 will be holding a Coat Drive.  Coats donated will be taken to the F.H. Furr/Volunteer Prince William “Keep ‘Em Warm” drop off location.  Hats, mitten, gloves and scarves will also be accepted.  There are boxes located in the Lobby and Preschool entrance to receive your donations at any time.  Please help us reach our goal of 400 coats! Leo Club Corner 
The Leo Club would like to thank everyone for their generous donations for Blue Day for Hurricane Relief.  The Leo Club collected $293.00, which is being donated to Catholic Relief Services/Hurricane Relief Fund.
Up Next – Non perishable food donation to be collected the night of the Christmas Play.

PSG News
Cookies for Teachers – Thanks to all who donated time, treats, and tins this week.  We had over 1,500 cookies donated, totaling 54 tins for teaches and staff, a dozen for the Sisters and 5 for the local fire department – and tons of fun to boot. We can’t thank everyone enough!  Merry Christmas from the PSG.
