There truly is “Snow Much Kindness” at LHS each and every day- from the administration who support our staff and set the foundation for a great school to teachers who love our students and make learning fun to the parents and volunteers who give of their time and hearts to support our school to the students who breathe joy and life into every part of our school… thanks to all for sharing God’s love each and every day!
CUB SCOUTS’ KEEP ‘EM WARM COAT DRIVE
Linton Hall School’s Pack 1922 cub scouts would like to sincerely thank the LHS families and friends, who generously donated their gently used coats, scarves, hats, gloves/mittens, snow pants, and boots throughout the months of November – January! We wrapped up our Keep ‘Em Warm Coat Drive on Thursday, January 14th, and successfully delivered our donation of over 300 coats to Volunteer Prince William, who were the recipients of this coat drive along with local business F.H. Furr.
Our Cub Master, Greg Crowne, volunteered to deliver our school’s donation of coats to Pathway Church in Woodbridge on Thursday morning, which was the distribution location this year for Volunteer Prince William. Our donations were part of their distribution to our area homeless this past weekend.
Finally, thank you to all the Cub Scouts and LHS families who helped make this our best Coat Drive EVER! We simply could not have done it without you! Although we all know it to be true, it is always good to be reminded of God’s grace. God is Good.

Hoops for Heart Campaign
Hello Parents and Students,
The official kickoff for this years Hoops for Heart fund raiser will start on February 1st and run until the 29th. We are mainly doing an online donation but you will also have flyers sent home with information about the American Heart Association. It says Hoops for Heart, when you register on line it will give you the option of signing up for Hoops or Jump rope for Heart. The only difference is the prize of a soccer ball verses a basketball. I have included the link to register and two videos of why the American Heart Association is important to us.
Four months after open-heart surgery, 14-year-old Gianna Schupler won two national dance titles.
Gianna dances with the Heart of a Champion…
Gianna, the Heart of a Dancer: Dance is her WHY
There is also an attachment (click here) that can help your child win prizes that will be given out at our kickoff rally during lunch on the 28th of January.
