Benedictine Sisters – Circle of Love Event

The Benedictine Sisters of Virginia invite you, your family, and your friends to the 4th annual Circle of Love event, here, on the grounds of Saint Benedict Monastery.

This free (donations accepted) event will be held on May 22nd, 2016 from 2-6 p.m. (rain or shine) where friends, family, and supporters of the Sisters and their ministries will gather to enjoy an afternoon of fellowship and fun.

Each ministry will be showcased,  Linton Hall School, Saint Gertrude High School, Transitional Housing BARN, BEACON for Adult Literacy, Benedictine Counseling Center, Benedictine Pastoral Center, and Sunfish Swimming as well as food, music, and games for the kids, plus much more!

Pack 1922 needs YOU!!!

Spring is here and it is time to do some sprucing!  LHS’s Pack 1922 will be hosting a Spruce up the Canteen weekend Saturday May 14 and Sunday May 15.  We will be cleaning and painting the outside of the Canteen with our school colors and mascot.  We are looking for volunteers of all ages to help clean, paint and add some “wow” to our school grounds.  For additional information and to sign up please click HERE to view the flyer.  Thanks in advance for your interest!

Summer Music Camps at Bach to Rock Bristow!

Become a rock star for a week! Bach to Rock Music School in Bristow, VA is now enrolling for Music Summer Camps for ages 4+. Choose from Rock Band Camp (7+), Glee Camp (7+), Recording Arts (10+), or Rock City World Tour (4-7). Students are placed in bands based on age/skill and taught to play/sing a song together- no experience necessary! They will come together to pick a band name, design t-shirts, create posters, perform, and record a cd in our state-of-the-art-studio. Younger rock stars will be introduced to live instruments through fun, music and movement based activities.
