Students will have class tomorrow morning before the GGC, upper school will have periods 2, 3 and 5.
All parents are encouraged to attend the GGC, a school-wide event full of tradition! Members of the Marine Corps will be on the course participating with the students, parents and faculty. Below is the itinerary for the event:
10:45 am – Welcome, opening prayer, National Anthem, and rules review in gym
11:00 am – Pre-K course start on the Pre-K playground
11:30 am – K-8 Competitive divisions begin on soccer field
12:00 pm – K-8 Non-competitive divisions begin on soccer field
12:30 pm – Parent/faculty division begins on soccer field
1:00 pm – Awards in gym (Competitive division and Potter Award)
NOTE: Only competitors wear racing bibs. Males and females begin together
in each age group and division.

Boys Basketball Begins
Boys Basketball practices will begin Monday, November 7th from 3:30-5pm. Practice will be held every Monday and Wednesday unless a game is scheduled for that day. Permission and Physical Forms can be found on the Linton Hall School website under Parents>Forms. All forms must be turned in before the first game which will be played on Monday, November 21st.
LHS Class of 2017 “Holiday Delights” Tasting & Instagram
Parent-Teacher conferences are about to get a whole lot more exciting! On Friday, November 11th, from 9:00 – 4:30, the Class of 2017 will hold a “Holiday Delights” special tasting of our home made cookies and nuts! Remember, when you purchase a “Holiday Delights” gift for the Prince William County police, the Class of 2017 will deliver the gift on your behalf with your family’s personalized message! OCEW to be Rescheduled
OCEW classes scheduled for November 8th and 9th have been canceled. Rescheduled dates will be posted soon.
Our LHS Little Sprouts had fun celebrating Halloween. We started the day with a staff play based on the book, The Great Monster Hunt By Norbert Landa and Tim Warnes and then had fun singing, “Looking for Dracula” (the Halloween version of Going on a Bear Hunt).
A special thank you to all the mommies and daddies who helped plan some fun class parties in each of our classrooms!
And another special thank you to Ricarda Ruch and Corrinne Turner for helping our LS Staff get our creativity on with our cute Minion costumes!!

It’s that time of year when food and family come together! Within our LHS community, there are some wonderful bakers and chefs. Now is the time to share your talent with everyone! Be a part of the LHS cookbook by submitting as many recipes as you’d like.
