From Our Preschool

Our LHS Little Sprouts have enjoyed a fun Fall Harvest Week celebrating The Great Outdoors!

We had such a fun visit from Wildlife Ambassadors who brought a parrot, skink, oppossum, ferret, and corn snake!  How many of you have ever petted a corn snake?!!

We also loved our rotations visiting with the “pretend” forest animals (thanks to some awesome parents for dressing up as owls, bears, a grey wolf, and raccoon) and roasting marshmallows over the campfire while we sang camp fire songs with Mrs. Lemmer!

 Fun Fair Updates

We are thrilled to have not only had an amazing day for our families and a chance to showcase our school to our community, but we also raised money to help us bring in a great program for our LHS students.
Part of the Fun Fair proceeds are allowing us to bring “Dome Theatre” (www.dometheater.net) to our school on Th., November 10th for preschool-8th grade!! Each class has chosen their own planetarium program to see throughout the day.  We are thrilled to be able to offer this experience for our students- thank you!!
