Buddy Readers Start the Year Off Right
Haymarket Day and Parade

On Saturday, September 16th Linton Hall School will once again participate in Haymarket Day. Linton Hall School will have a booth where we will be sharing information about our wonderful school. We will be participating in the parade with a float. Any student who would like to walk with the float, please email Mrs. Finkel, mfinkel@lintonhall.edu. Please were your  Linton Hall School summer uniform if you are participating in the parade. If you are there to enjoy the day with your family, be sure to drop by the booth to say hello!!!

Linton Hall School Choir

Upcoming Meeting of SCA & LEO Clubs
If you are in upper school (grades 5, 6, 7 and 8) and you are interested in the Student Council Association and the Leo Club, join us on Monday, September 11th  from 3:15-4:00 in the library. We will be sharing information on ways to serve our school in one of the many leadership positions.

PSG Announcements

Spirit Night:  Monday September 11, 2017 Linton Hall School will be celebrating the end of summer with a Spirit Night held at Cookies and Cream in Haymarket from 6-8pm (14650 Washington Street, Haymarket VA 20169).  20% proceeds will go back to Linton Hall School. Let’s say good-bye to summer with friends and delicious ice cream. Hope to see you there!

Uniform reminders: This week the PSG will be changing over the uniform closet from summer to winter items. Please hold off on any further donations during this time.  Next week, come check out the updated closet featuring the winter uniforms.

 

Reminder– if you purchased a dress down day pass on the first day, and agreed to pay for it, please send in your check or cash through the yellow folders addressed to “Jennifer Heflin, Third Grade’. The PSG will send reminder invoices after the holiday weekend for those from whom payment remains outstanding.

 

Basketball Opportunities for Dads

Big Daddy Basketball takes place in the school gym on Sunday at 7pm. The pick up games usually last 2 hours total. It is open to all skill levels. If you are interested in learning more about it, please email Logan Metcalf (logan@hkbentley.com).
