Performances
We have many exciting performances scheduled for this school year. Below is a list of our upcoming performances
Opening of the John Marshall Bank Headquarters
Date Thursday 3-15-12 (please RSVP by 3-9-12)
Location: 1943 Isaac Newton Square Reston VA 20190
Arrive: The Corps will leave right after school to arrive at the bank headquarters by 4:15pm. All carpool volunteers please arrive at the school prior to 3:15pm.
Performance: 6:15 pm
Pick-up: Corps members should be picked up at Linton Hall School at 7:15pm
What to wear: Corp members should wear a white shirt, black pants (no black jeans please), black socks, black shoes (sneakers are fine). If you have already received your uniform please wear it to the performance. If not we will have a uniform for you.
As a Thank You for their performance the Fife and Drum Corps will receive a $500 donation from the John Marshall Bank.
Catholic Business Network Banquet
Date Sunday 3-25-12 (please RSVP by 3-12-12)
Location: Hyatt Dulles
Arrive: All Corps members and carpool volunteers should meet at LHS at 3pm. Please let us know if you will be going directly to the Hyatt Dulles so we won’t wait for you at the school to leave.
Performance: 5:45pm
Pick-up: Corps members should be picked up at Linton Hall School between 7:00-7:15pm
What to wear: Corp members should wear a white shirt, black pants (no black jeans please), black socks, black shoes (sneakers are fine). If you have already received your uniform please wear it to the performance. If not we will have a uniform for you. As a Thank You for their performance the Fife and Drum Corps will receive a $500 donation from the Catholic Business Network.
Grandparents Day
Date Monday 4-2-12 (No need to RSVP as this event will take place during the normal school day)
Location: Linton Hall School
Performance: 1:30pm
What to wear: Corp members should wear a white shirt, black pants (no black jeans please), black socks, black shoes (sneakers are fine). If you have already received your uniform please bring it with you to school on April 2nd. If not we will have a uniform for you.
Honor Air
Date Tuesday 4-3-12 (Please RSVP by 3-29-12)
Location: Dulles Airport
Arrival: Corps members must arrive at Dulles Airport by 8am.
Performance: 9:00am
What to wear: Corp members should come in uniform to the airport
Music in The Parks Competition Performance Busch Gardens Williamsburg – Music in the parks Registration Form
Date Saturday 4-28-12 (please submit your registration form and payment no later than April 2, 2012)
Location: The actual performance will take place at a high school located near Busch Gardens. We will then spend the day at Busch Gardens and the awards ceremony will be held in the park.
Performance: 10 am
What to wear: Corp members should wear their uniforms to the performance.
Honor Air
Date Tuesday 5-15-12
Location: Dulles Airport
Arrival: Corps members must arrive at Dulles Airport by 8am.
Performance: 9:00am
What to wear: Corp members should come in uniform to the airport
Performance Participation
Corps members work very hard to be able to participate in each performance by mastering the music and the marching. Because of the precision and practice required for this type of performance Corps members who do not attend the practice prior to a performance or who are not practicing at home on a regular basis may not be able to participate in the performance.
UNIFORMS
All Corps members must wear black pants (no jeans), black shoes (black sneakers are fine) and black socks as well as a white shirt to every performance. Corps members who do not wear these items will not be permitted to perform.
