Christmas Concert
Tomorrow, December, 9th is our Christmas Concert at 6:30pm. All students should arrive at 6:00pm and go to the classrooms.  A friendly reminder that girls wear red tops and boys wear green tops with dark bottoms (Linton Hall uniform pants are perfect.) Please do not stress over this as we realize this information was not in Poole’s Page last week!
LHS Class of 2017 “Holiday Delights” Pick Up Information
Our elves are very busy packing the wonderful Holiday Delight orders that were placed!  Order pick up is tomorrow Friday, December 9th at LHS.  Three pick up times are available:  12:30 – 1:30 in the LHS Dining Room, 2:30 – 4:00 in the LHS Dining Room, and around 8:00PM after the Christmas Performance in the back of the gym.   Multiple families generously purchased cookie trays and nuts for the PWC Police force to enjoy!  The Class of 2017 parents and students will deliver those items on the afternoon of Wednesday, December 14th.  Please contact the “Cool Cuisine” rep, Mary Stern, at maryastern@gmail.com with Holiday Delights questions!


Holy Trinity Giving Tree

Thank you to everyone who has graciously volunteered to purchase an item for the Holy Trinity Giving Tree. It is such a nice, tangible way to express the spirit of Christmas. Final Day to drop off your gift is Friday, December 9th.  Again, thank you for your generosity.


Kindergarten collecting for Toys for Tots

Kindergarten is collected new, unwrapped toys for Toys-4-Tots.  They will be delivering the toys to the local firehouse on Friday, December 16th.  If you would like to contribute a toy there will be a collection box outside of the kindergarten classroom.


Leo Club Canned Food Drive to Benefit House of Mercy and/or Serve
Please bring in two cans or boxes of nonperishable food to your homeroom or the box in the main hallway.
We are collecting cans December 6 – December 16, 2016.




LHS Pack 1922’s 6th Annual “Keep ‘Em Warm” Coat Drive

LHS’ Cub Scouts are continuing their annual Coat Drive!  Once again this year, we are teaming up with F.H. Furr and Volunteer Prince William.  Collection boxes have been placed just outside the front office by the Dining Hall, as well as, down in the Little Sprouts corridor. Please feel free to drop-off your donations anytime in the collection boxes. There will be Boy Scouts taking donations on several Thursdays through December and two in January at morning drop-off, as well. They will be taking your donations until Thursday, January 12, 2017. From Our Little Sprouts

As the days turn colder, our LHS Little Sprouts are keeping warm and having fun making some delicious hot cocoa at their classroom Hot Cocoa Stand!  Such simple pleasures being 3!!








It’s not too late to be a part of the LHS Cookbook!  The more recipes you contribute, the better the book!

There are two ways you can submit recipes: online or handwritten.  For information on submitting online click HERE .  Click HERE  to hand write your recipe.  Cookbooks will be available for purchase in the Spring; a perfect Mother’s Day gift.  This is going to be a keepsake in our family and I hope yours too!
