Summer Work and Supply Lists
Summer work is designed to help reduce “summer slide,” keeping students engaged with the topics they learned during the past school year.
We strongly recommend lots of reading and certain grades have summer reading lists as outlined below.
We encourage students to work on the Math packets found below, but they will not count for a grade this year.
We also encourage parents who might be looking for a bit more to help keep children learning this summer to explore IXL, an application that does a charge a fee but is very helpful for students to use on their computer or device this summer to help maintain learning. You can see more information at https://www.ixl.com/ but please note this is not a requirement, just a helpful suggestion as many have asked. In addition, most students in grades 1-6 (22-23 school year) are licensed to use Freckle, which can be found here: AR, Freckle, myON & Star. They are free to use that for Practice as well if they have their Renaissance (AR/STAR/Freckle login.)
Please choose the summer work and supply lists for your child’s 23-24 grade level.
