🚒 Heroes Responded. Let’s Say Thank You!
This past Saturday morning, a fire occurred in the building that houses the Culpeper location of Zandra’s Taqueria. The Pires family, members of our Linton Hall School community, was directly impacted by this fire. Thanks to the quick response and tireless efforts of firefighters from across Culpeper County and neighboring communities, lives were protected, the fire was contained, and further damage was prevented.

Responding agencies included the Culpeper County Volunteer Fire & Rescue Association, Brandy Station Volunteer Fire Department, Salem Volunteer Fire Department, Rapidan Volunteer Fire Department, Richardsville Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, Reva Volunteer Fire & Rescue, Littlefork Volunteer Fire and Rescue, Orange Volunteer Fire Company, Warrenton Volunteer Fire Company, Remington Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department, and Fauquier County Fire Rescue System.

As a school community, we would like to express our gratitude to the firefighters who answered the call and served so selflessly.

To do so, Linton Hall School is organizing a “Thank a Firefighter Drive.”

Families who wish to participate are invited to:

❤️ Write a thank-you note, letter, or draw a picture for a firefighter.

❤️Donate a gift card in any amount.

All notes, drawings, and gift cards collected will be delivered to the responding fire departments as a small token of appreciation for their courage, and service.

Thank you for helping us honor these local heroes and teach our students the importance of gratitude, service, and giving back.

Next week is good as well until Tuesday afternoon! Great question!

Great idea! Are you collecting this week only? Or can items be dropped off next week? Thanks!

Thank you 🙏
