In Mad Scientist Enrichment Class we learned about reactions. We talked about how we could create a reaction and what kids of reactions would occur. We began our day with a small reaction of baking soda and vinegar. The kids loved creating rainbows and watching the fizz. We then talked about how we could create a bigger reaction. We decided to try for a bigger "explosion". The kids helped mix and add ingredients and then the magic happened. Elephan toothpaste came alive. The squeals of joy and excitement were fun to watch.
