On Tuesday, October 6 from 7:00 to 8:30, we will be hosting a High School Information Fair, right here at Linton Hall School! The event will feature five of the private schools our students most often attend. They include PVI, Pope John Paul the Great, Highland School, Wakefield School, and Seton School. Please join us, with your students, to learn about the programs offered by these schools. Each school will have a representative to answer your questions and provide you with helpful information. We hope this evening will be informative and helpful in finding just the right High School for your child(ren)! Please email Mrs. Finkel at mfinkel@lintonhall.edu if you think you may attend. This Saturday, September 26, 2015, Linton Hall School is holding a packing party for Comfort Cases. This is a great event where volunteers will be packing backpacks full of items for children who are placed in foster care. There is still time to donate. The following items are suggested.
Backpacks
Pajamas – Infant to 18, for older children loungewear/t-shirts
Travel size: Toothpaste, Shampoo, Conditioner, Deodorant
Books, Coloring Books, Crayons, Pens, Pencils
Socks, Underwear, Combs, Brushes
All items can all be found at dollar stores such as Five Below.

Calling all bakers!
The Fun fair is quickly approaching and we need your baking help!! Volunteers are needed to make baked goods or buy pre-packaged nut-free goodies. All contributions can be delivered on Friday, October 16th, 2015 either during drop off or pick up, to the cafeteria or near the Little Sprouts office.
Bakers are asked to place baked goods in bags for individual sale (for example three cookies per bag or one large brownie per bag). If you are contributing a whole cake, there is no need to break up into individual bags, just wrap in whatever manner is most suitable.
We are also requesting prepackaged NUT FREE items (ex: store bought rice Krispie treats). Under the link, you will notice 2 different categories to sign up. Thank you so much!

Box Tops Blitz ends at noon, September 25. That’is tomorrow! Bring in the boxtops collected during the summer months and any you currently have on hand and bring to school by noon, tomorrow.
The top 10 individuals with the most valid Box Tops turned in will receive gift cards donated by Friends of Linton Hall School.
Be sure to clip the official box tops and bonus box tops certificates off products your family uses every day. Clip the official box top coupon with expiration date intact. Expired dates are considered void and cannot be considered.
IMPORTANT: Each submission must be properly labeled with the student’s name and grade to ensure his/her contribution is correctly recorded.

What a lovely day we had on Saturday for the Haymarket Day Parade. The Fife and Drum played beautifully and lead the way for our littlest ones to follow on our float.
