Today our Dragons met their 5th grade Buddy Class for the very first time!
Together we celebrated World Kindness Day — which is recognized every year on November 13th.
World Kindness Day is a global day that reminds us to notice kindness, practice kindness, and spread kindness everywhere we go — at school, at home, and in our community.

We talked about what kindness looks like and what kindness sounds like —
helping a friend, using gentle words, sharing materials, being welcoming, saying “you can play with us,” and noticing when someone needs help.

Then we worked in mixed buddy groups to create a Kindness Quilt!
Each pair designed a square that included a picture or a quote about kindness.
All the squares were then put together to make one collaborative art piece — showing that when every person adds a little kindness, it becomes something big and beautiful.
