On Saturday afternoon, The Linton Hall Fife and Drum Corps proudly performed at Falcon’s Landing, a military retirement community in Potomac Falls, Virginia. A celebration was held for members in honor of our Nation’s 250th Anniversary, Falcon’s Landing’s 30th Anniversary and the LHS Fife and Drum Corps’ 25 Anniversary. Corps members performed for retired military and their guests.

Prior to the performance, Corps members received special anniversary pins from Mr. Bob Manning, former Principal of Linton Hall School and the President of the Military Officer Association of America (MOAA)

At the conclusion of the performance, Mr. Manning presented LHS Corps Director, Mrs. Georgia Graves, the prestigious MOAA Certificate of Achievement. This award was unanimously voted on by the entire membership of the MOAA Chapter at Falcon’s Landing. It was determined the LHS Fife and Drum Corps were deserving of this award, which is only given on a special occasion such was today.

What a surprise when an anonymous resident of Falcon's Landing gifted the Fife and Drum Corp a VERY generous donation! What an incredible blessing!

Congratulations to all members and their families, alumni and instructors for their dedication and service to our school and our community! You always make us proud! 🇺🇸

LOVE this! Great job Lions!

Today, we are honored to present our Good Samaritan Award to someone very special, Father Bill. Through his kindness, joyful spirit, and faithful service, he shows us what it means to live like Jesus each day. He cares deeply for our school community and always makes time to encourage, guide, and pray with us. We are especially grateful for the fun and loving way he connects with our students, making them smile while helping them grow in their faith. His example reminds us that being holy can also be joyful. Thank you, Father Bill, for being such a blessing to Linton Hall School.
